Havent visited the SHF in a while so i figured i'd post up what been killed and such.
I killed my first one of the year on a National Wildlife Refuge on 4/2 - 20lbs, 9 5/8 inch beard, and 1 3/8 inch hooks. . .i'll get the pictures up for the contest up asap.
I killed my next bird the following morning at 6:30, about 18-19 lbs, 9 3/4 inch beard, and 1 inch spurs.
Called my brother up 2 birds, one an hour after i killed my 2nd one and one Sunday afternoon. 20.5lbs, 9 9/16 inch beard, and 15/16 inch spurs. other bird: 17-18lbs, 10 1/2 inch beard and 1 1/16 inch spurs.
Called up a friend from Iowa that came to hunt w/ me a few weekends ago a bird that weighed 20 lbs, 8 7/8 inch beard, and 1 inch spurs.
Season got off to a slow start but things have heated up nicely. Good Huntin' Cove
