I've been messing with my New Gun,been aiming for the Head, then at 40 yards I hold a little high. Plus I've been watching film of Guys missing, they are hitting in the Breast Feathers. I'd say go for the Head. Here is a Pic of my new guns pattern need to come up a little, but it will work.Plus take into consideration this is a Muzzleloader with Lead Shot. oneshot

If I aim for the top of the head my pattern will hit in the mid to lower neck region. If I aim any lower than the top of the head I get too much shot in the breast area. I need to put a scope or a red dot on mine so I can hit where I aim. I like the majority of my shot to be in the middle of the neck. Hit high and hit the head, Hit low and hit the base of the neck.

I usually aim right under the head. It depends alot on the gun and where it patterns.

Depends on the point of aim/point of impact on your gun. Thats why we pattern our shots
