i've always thought that anything over 8in. was a longbeard but have heard that some people don't judge theirs by the beard...they decide if it is by the fan and spurs.

I figure if it has an 8"+ Beard its a Long Beard,its done been through two seasons,should know its stuff. But I seen my Brother in Law one day,said he had been out Turkey Hunting and got a Jake,only weighed 15 Pounds.Well I go look at it,1" Spures,Nice Fan,  ,Whats going on here? Get to looking,it had a short stubby Beard,all its Breast Featherd were missing.Like I told him it was an Old Bird,just taking it all out of him chasing the Ladies. oneshot |

Ive pretty much thought the same. A longbeard is a ........long beard. 8" and above is a good long beard.
