The first item is the HS strut panhandler. This is a plastic friction pot holder with rubber grips that you attach to your leg , arm or whatever body part you want. For those of you who have the FREAK friction call you'll know what I mean. I tried mine out on Wednesday. It worked great. I put my cody slate call in it and walked around all morning with it attached and it never slipped or fell off. I was really glad i had it when that gobbler came strutting in at 60 yards. I held the gun up and worked some soft calls to bring him in to about 35 yards. But I missed. Thats another story though. For under $10 its a good convienent thing to have. Next is the Ameristep Jakehouse turkey blind. This is a three sided blind made of nylon and looped wire. This unit folds to a suprisingly small 2" thick by 10" diameter package and only weighs about 2lb. I set it up in the yard last evening and it was very quick and easy to set up and also takes no time at all to fold back up. It takes less than 15 seconds to set up. I set it up and took it back down (folded and in the pouch) in less than 25 seconds. The only possible drawback is that it is 100% nylon so any stick that brushes up against it is going to have that sound to it. This may or may not be a problem. I'll try it out alot more and get back on this one. For $16, its a cheap, quick, and very portable blind. a1460.g.akamai.net/f/1460/1339/6h/www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/content/Pod/01/29/33/p012933sq01.jpg[/img]

Fl, the panhandler staps run through a closed end hole on both sides of the device so it doesnt pop off. I did notice that if you do alot of walking with the weight of your call strapped to your leg, the straps tended to loosen a little. I solved this by tightening the strap and tying a semi tight half knot in it. I used it again yesterday along with my Freak call. With the Freak call I just found it easier to leave the strap and remove the call whenever I got up to move around.
