I went out this morning before work to try and hear some gobbling in an area where I saw 2 nice gobblers
on Saturday. This was one of two very promising looking places that I found this year. When I got there my heart sank. LOGGERS. They had the whole area tore up.
And to make matters worse,. I heard yesterday
that the private land I usually hunt up near the Georgia line is being sold.
And the one WMA that I was looking forward to hunting on this year is over run with coyotes. 
2 weeks of intense scouting and I have one spot that shows a little promise. Its a 2 mile bike ride to this one though. 
Hopefullly my hunt on the ST. Marks refuge in April will make everything better.
In the mean time. Does anyone have room in their blind for one more disgruntled turkey hunter??
