How smart is a turkey? If I put out my homemade ground blind the day I hunt, wont the turkeys know somethings up? I want to shoot a turkey with my longbow, but I dont know if the turkeys will think somethings wrong when they see a new blind sitting in the woods. What do you think?

I don't use blinds or decoys; just sit down with a tree wider than my shoulders and be still. Too much wasted time setting up/taking up when you strike a bird or have to move. The faster you can sit down to a gobbler and start calling, the better the odds of taking that bird. Make him hunt for the hen, not stop and strut to a decoy.
