Fl, IMO if you could get a shot through the wing, and into the top of his leg, then he couldn't run or fly off. he has to have his legs to start flyin.  They say the wing butt is a good place, and the only 2 turkeys I've killed that's where I hit them. they say the wing butt if he's broadside, right around the beard if he's facin you, right in the back if he's facin away, and right in the Butt if he's facin away fanned out. but if I get the chance, I'm goin for the top of the leg |

Just above the legs. . . cant fly off and it's directly through the vitals.
