Which of the sub-spieces is the hardest to hunt? From what I have killed Osceola's seem just alil more warier(sp) than Eastern's! (jmo)

If the Osceola's are tougher than the Eastern's I'll feel sorry for you folks.

Any of the southeastern "Swamp-Birds", either the Eastern or the Osceola, are harder to hunt than the oakridge birds, in the same state. I hunt both, as I belong to a Hunt Club, in the lowcountry/swamps and live in the oakrigde/flatlands (Columbia) of SC....

Only hunted Easterns in Ga. and SC and Osceola's in SW Central Fl. The Osceola is most difficult and the most difficult Osceola is the open public land swamp bird. What makes them harder to hunt is they will walk in much thicker stuff than the Eastern and wade around in water. That makes them harder to see and lets them slip in and see you first easier.
