Dude I about fell out of my chair laughing. I can think of about 100 things more apetizing to be found in the woods at Benning. Speaking of Benning food fun. We had a sure nuff pills berry doughboy in basic. His dad was some connected bigwheel and got him Airborne and Ranger after basic. Well in adition to being built like a pillowcase this dude was dumb and a city slicker. We conned him into eating a stink bug since Rangers eat bugs. Apparently they arent very apetizing either.

Dude,
You gotta be pretty hungry to eat bugs. There are lots of things that eat good just almost any where in the South.
Snakes, coons, DEER!!, pigs......we just killed the first thing we came across and the Cambodian killed him.....had I known what we were gettin into, we'd have trashed that animal and found something else.
By the time we got that smelly bastard cut out of his shell, it was well into dark and we were commited.

When is winged mouse season?
I ate antelope and didn't think it was bad either. You must've been eating the wrong end.
