Seems that Buck and DS wanna go snipe some prongs in West Texas this Fall.
Any one else wanna come?
I'll set up the guide and lodging.
It AIN"T gonna be cheap....I wish it was.
Anyway, let me know....we still have plenty of time to book the trip.

BTW......next to armadillo, prongs are the WORST tastingthing I have ever put in my mouth. I know a good proccessor in Lubbock we can visit but I will give my meat to Hunters for the Hungry....andd I almost hate to do that because of the way they taste.

Heh.....I MIGHT be able to find a 3 day trip a $1000.
Get to Dallas, stay here a night. I got a big house that will sleep plenty.
We drive to West Texas, LOOOOONG drive....6-8hours depending on where we hunt........do the trip,.......drive back to the houe and everyone can stay as long as they like til they leave.

hell, I cant have any fun. Besides I can get us there in 4hrs  BTW, while your lookin around see about a combo hunt. Most places prob offer em? Be nice to be able to bust a big whitetail or mulie if ya saw them too. |

I don't know what they eat there Hunt but they are fine table fare here,haven't eaten any that I thought were bad. On the other hand I wouldn't hunt them for meat,there's so very little to begin with.I'll hunt them for one to hang on the wall. Sure would like to join you guys on that hunt,sounds like an adventure ;D.But that $1000.00 price tag is too rich for my blood.I'll have to take my chances here on the lottery,probably a few more years till I get drawn for the archery tag. |

Ok I can see sampling some Prong meat, but how does one decide to eat Armadillos? Those things stink and I am sure they probably taste worse.

Yeah, bro.....we were in the Army and we were doing survival training with some Cambodians at the School of the Americas at Benning and we were hungry.
Also, I did not know this til later but armadillos carry leprosy.
