What is the gestation period for whitetail deer? I swear I read many years ago that it was not set by months but by nutrtion required for proper fetus devolpment. In other words if the pregnant doe is getting good nutrition it only take 6 months. But if the food supply was low it could take 8 months.
Does anyone know for sure?
