Hmmm if that is accurate then both Illinois and Indiana were both down this year (2003) compared to last (2002). Ill was over 100,000 and Indiana was close to that int 2002. Does that mean that there are actually less deer in each state now? Or was it just an off year because of the unseasonably warm temps and most of the deer did not come out untill after dark? I know that I seen many more coming out into the fields to eat after it was past leagal shooting than befor. Still light enough to see outlines but not light enough to actually see clearly. I know of a couple of other sites that also post totals one uses Ill and In Dnr's numbers but they are not posted yet. Guess that I will have to keep checking.

major lying going on here in pa. dont believe one word they tell you.the [pgc] is not to be trusted or believed.its all to get you to buy licenses.there are few deer now, no rabbits, grouse hunting bad,no pheasants, turkeys getting less.if you want to see deer and rabbits etc.you will see them here BUT check out where you see them? it WILL be on private land that you cant hunt on NOT on state FOREST lands where you will have to hunt.we do have lots of predators, hawks, yotes, fox, bobcats, cougars, mountain lions, rattlesnakes, weasels, fishers.all predators.all protected but the yotes.
