I'eve seen video footage of pickups running off the road to hit the robot deer......lol....
You should see their faces when they get pulled over.

This is poaching in any state. These are not slob hunters, meat hunters, night hunters, or any other term with hunter attached. These are criminals.

I dont know about now, but in NC it was as long as one foot was touching the ground it was legal to shoot from a vehicle.

Yeah, I think it varys from state to state and it depends on what you are hunting.
It's ok to hunt yote from a car at night here as well as pigs.
But ya'll are right, if they violate state laws, they are criminals!

you know what was interesting?some shot 3 times and still did not know they were shooting at a robot.why are they road hunting more than ever here in pa? i will tell you its [lack] of deer.when there was a lot of deer in woods they would get out of the vehicile and hunt for them. now you have to cover territory to get a deer.remember what i said about 20 deer in my area ,now 3 deer or less? its a steady stream of hunters road hunting now.they are not [lazy] as i know some that got caught. its that [meat ] thing.your chances increase if you cover territory now to hunt here as the herds of deer are gone.take care

Commanche, you have an extreme dislike for anyone that is not a trophy hunter. Why is that? Did your daddy tell you that shooting does for meat was wrong or was he one of those that bragged about only shooting does in the head and then only shooting at their eyes? Wonder how many jaws he destroyed and animals that died in agony because of this kind of thinking. Shooting at decoys or deer out of a car makes that person a poacher; ie- a criminal: This person is not a hunter. The fine was too lenient. 5k would be better, with loss of gun, vehicle, etc.

Commanche that crap happens in every state and province in Canada too,not just PA.To me it's just lazy hunters taking an opportunnity for an easy deer.
Fish and Wildlife sets up a robo decoy all the time out by my place and we have no shortage of deer what so ever. There are lots of mule deer and white tails here.
