rifle season starts tomorrow, we watched a beautiful nontypical 11 point from the stand i shot my buck openin day last year and we just left it unpressured during bow season this year and huntin back from it aways, didnt see him anymore but i know its there, anyways that aint the point of this post, i went to check my stand yesterday to make sure i have a good trail to it the stand overlooks a swamp and on the other side you can watch deer movement all day, the stand is high enough i can watch their whoel bedding area which is a old dump turned into a weed field with a few pines, anways i get their yesterday and weve had some flooding and found out the swamp was flooded and i couldnt get to my stand it was about four foot out in the water, so im goin back today with my rubber boots and see jsut how deep it is, i am goin to hunt that stand no matter what, if i do happen to shoot him we are gonna have to get a boat in teir to go get it lol
