Boy is my wife pissed..she even said she is sitting my stand tomorrow..I said sure..her stand is on the rub/scrape line of the 12 point Duck and I saw one evening...I hit the lil can this evening right at dark and a cow horn bout 7" or 8" come busting up through the woods right at me..I saw horns and I shot and took it...I hate I did after I saw what I shot, but to late then...I rushed..I should have calmed down...took a sec and studied the situation a bit...but hindsight is 20/20...
just with seeing and even shooting and missing some big bucks this year..the way this rascal came busting up through there grutting and making a racket I just knew it was one of the bigger ones I've been seeing..anyways..another buck for me..
now Carol wants to go buy a freezer..we got deer meat coming out the wazoo..but I love it...helps on the grocery bill

Also happy to hear a good first hand report about the lil can. Everyone that I'd heard before was always someone who knew someone...that kinda deal.

all 5 bucks and the doe were killed using it...I'm glad the wife brought me one home..
it took one turn on this buck tonight and he was coming..hard and fast.

I have begged her..I have pleaded with her to let me sit in her stand....she has buck rubs and scrapes around her stands ...he stand is on the rub line of the big 12 point Duck and I saw one evening..I just think she has a hard time seeing at the prime time in the evenings..
I killed another buck this morning..160# 6 point..had a broke off brow tine so he would have been a 7
Now she gets on the phone with her uncle who is coming for the weekend with his family..he's been chomping at the bit to get here for awhile..well anyway..Carol says " when you get here I need help pulling that horse-shoe outta his a$$"

I used the lil can on my hunt 11/12/03. Hit it about every 15 min from 4pm til 5:30pm. Last time I hit it , I also used a small grunt call (the one that goes in your mouth used for bows mostly). Two bucks came out together looking around.
I'm sold. The can is the stuff.

don't know what it is about the lil can....I use it very little and right when I'm walking in to my stand...right before last light and when I walk out...thats the only time I use it
Carol and I were walking home one evening from our stands...we stop right at a crossing near the house and she asked if she was useing it right...well she started going back and forth with that thing...the next morning when we were on our way back out to hunt...right where she had been showing me how she uses the can....there must have been a dozen or so doe and buck tracks right there where we had been standing the night before..I guess you are right...gotta catch them in the mood
I acually turned a buck..the 2nd 8 point i got this year..he was walking away..no shot and moving pretty good..I hit the lil can once..he made a big circle of where he thought the sound came from and came out and gave me a 20 yard quartering away shot
