Heres a great link for you that want an Arieal map of your favorite hunting spot, Its free and has pretty good resolution. Its a little hard at first to figure out just exactly where you are looking, But I find a Highway or closest town and go from there. Also I found it easier to use by clicking the "advanced find" on the left side of the page. Heres the link. terraserver-usa.com/default.aspx

I use that too. Another good source for aerial maps is at your local county extension office. Most counties have a soil survey book which is a book of aireal photos of that county with the soil types numbered on the map. The books even tell you what plants and trees you should find on that soil type or whether that spot stays flooded for 2 months or 6 months per year. Alot of good information about an area can be compiled from these. Checkem out. They are free in my area.

165.166.39.5/giswebsite/default.htmThats the site I was showing MUD. If you can find one for your county its pretty cool, will show the plat, who owns it, how big the house is, how many lots or acres, approximate value, all kindsa cool stuff.
