I used to tape a down feather to the limb of my bow so I could tell if the wind changed. That is until I had an owl slam my bow while I was holding it.
Also had a racoon try to get in the stand with me. I tried to make small noises and movenents, but it kept coming. I finally stood up and waved my arms wildly. The coon jumped off the limb it was climbing on and crashed to the ground.
