Although I am a bird man, I am still waiting to hammer a true trophy wall hanger. Don't get me wrong, I am a meat hunter but it would be nice to have a good hanger.

I've never been turkey hunting but I've been told it is more adictive than deer hunting. I'm a meat hunter though. 18-20# turkey...80-120# deer? you do the math.
(I know those deer weights may be lite for some of you, but these swamp deer dont get much agriculture.)

I'd say the turkey. I've shot and seen good bucks (just a few wallhangers) but the turkeys that were around my area a few years ago aren't around so much anymore and I never saw a good tom then either.

I'm going with the gobbler, killed a few wallhangers and mature buck , but never a turkey...this will be the year I get one I hope and a bragging size one at that..this year we have seen more turkey than any of the years past we have lived here

As for turky or deer?....... teer how about durky? Verry tough one. I say turky. unless I find spring mushrooms then mushrooms. I like all three!! But I think turky is just a little more fun than deer.

I have to go with turkey, I have a few nice bucks hanging on the wall and have missed or not had shots at several other trophys but have never taken a turkey. I haven't spent the time turkey hunting that I do deer hunting but when I have turkey hunted had little to no luck. I see more turkey while deer hunting than turkey hunting.
