Had this cow moose and her calf standing on the trail saturday afternoon.This pic was taken at 18 yards,she sent her calf off into bush when we approached too close.

She decided she needeed a drink out of the mud hole on the trail.The ice was broken on it and I guess it saved her a trip to the river.

If you have a draw permit for them.It takes 7 years to get drawn in this unit.

Next year we're doing a northern Alberta moose hunt,we can buy a tag over the counter in the northern units and there are some huge white tail up there also.
