Bobcat season open up in KY today. I got this female chasing a rabbit this evening. This is the first bobcat I have killed and the fourth that I have seen in all my life.

Congrats Chris, I've saw a few and even had one try to slip up on me once, but I've never killed one. Gonna have it mounted?

I just don't have any interest in shooting one myself. They just don't look like they would be too tasty. Let us know how it eats. ;D

I dont blame ya Chris, I'd have it mounted too. I've seen some good ones, just not during season. Nice one T.B.

Both are beautiful cats...I wan't one bad..and I am gonna have it mounted..My taxidermist has one mounted and it is jumping with one paw outstretched hooking his claws into a quail..very beautiful mount
season opens here on the 24th and runs through March 1st and I see them quite regularly too....usually in the evenings chasing treerat...fun to watch but never seen one after deer season runs out Jan 1st... the first thing they usually do is smell the wicks or where I have put a squirt or two on the ground of doe esterus...then listen for supper run by or upin the leaves
