ok so i was proud of my nephew and posted pics.. well they all flipped out saying it was child abuse to teach a kid to hunt, and they are really getting rediculus.. they are turning around everything i am saying.. so if you can sign up and post how you feel about it.. id like to shut them up because they are even harassing me on aim they are talking crap about hunting in general and just saying the most ignorant things about it p099.ezboard.com/fjjboardfrm12.showMessageRange?topicID=94080.topic&start=1&stop=20 |

I'm sorry that they're posting those remarks. People that have no idea what they're talking about have no business talking about it anyways.
Let them ramble on, you'll would never get your point across to someone like that.
Heck, they should see some of deerslayers head shot pics. ;D

Natalie,You were taking a beating,but you had some back-up.All this over a mock hunt is hard to believe.I didn't let my 4 sons hunt with a gun till they were over 12 years old,but they went on hunting and fishing trips with me when ever they wanted.Which was often from the time they were your nephews age.I did let them shoot guns at safe locations.Young'uns need to learn the way of the hunt as early as your willing to spend the time with them.IMO,A child 4,5,6,7 years old seeing a animal shot with a guns learns just what a gun can do and is less likely to become voilent towards another human being with a firearm.
My hat's off to you for spending the time with your nephew.It's time well spent.

You sure got tangled up with that group of morons.I wouldn't post over there if you paid me.Most are set in their ways and opinions and I couldn't change their minds if I wanted to.I have no use for people like that,that's why I'm here,with people who do the same thing.

Well said Blue. Several of those freaks said that those were the " most disturbing pics they had ever saw".......To be honest that was some of the most disturbing posts I've ever read! What kind of group is that anyway? Most of them dont even try to understand your way of life. I think you just need to spend less time with them and more time with your fellow hunters.  |

i do, but its a site that they normally post pics of kids they are proud of
and i thought big deal, he has a pellet gun and hes having a blast.. but they flipped the hell out
but i kept replying till i got so sick of defending myself, i just post smart ass comments to piss them off more.. i got a kick out of that thread, it gave me something to do this morning

Born and raised in africa (Zimbabwe), given my first pellet gun at age 5 going 6, today "i'm a full time professional hunter in Tanzania and Zimbabwe with 17 years hunting big game behind me. I have had the most amazing adventure, seen some of the most beautiful places in Africa, USA, Spain and the UK. I have been chased, biten and stung. At age 40 something fell out of a tree in Tanzania hanging leopard bait, tore my ass open.... wouldn't change a thing. Thank you Dad, for my first little pellet (air) rifle.

I posted the picture of my 6 yr old daughter in the photo album forum on here. I guess I picked the right board to do it.
I can tell you I wouldn't be back to that board. There are thousands of boards on the WWW and I'm sure you can find some that are more friendly to the life you and your family live.

What a bunch pink panty wearing pussies. Why would you anywhere and post with such a bunch homos? Someone that is disturbed by the sight of a young man with a BB gun is mentally disturbed in general. I was disturbed by their comments. It really breaks my heart to think there are people that think like that in this country. What would these pussies have done if they were born a hundred and fifty years ago and there wasn't a Wal-Mart to get their groceries and tennis shoes at?
I thought seriously about joing that site just to let loose on them with both barrels one good time.
