by a cow moose on saturday.I was hunting a muskeg late saturday evening,maybe had a half hour of light left.I was working my way over to a cutline that would take me back to camp when I saw her ears above the willows.If she knew I was there she didn't care.So anyways I watch her for a while and she continues to browse.I give a couple of bull grunts to see what she'd do.Well I must of said she was ugly cause she laid back her ears and came thru those willows like they weren't even there.I shouldered my rifle and had nothing but moose filling the scope when she stopped at about 10 yards,good thing I didn't have to turn and run,I was up to my calves in muskeg and water and wasn't going anywhere fast.Guess I better learn moose love talk before I do that again.
