I posted one of these about bows in the bowhunting section so Ill do one for guns to I reckon. What kind of gun are you gunna be shooting deer with this season, or heck what ever game you hunt not just deer. Im gunna be using my ol trusty 30-30 Marlin open sight with Winchester SuperX 150 Grain Bullets, and my trusty Remington Model 870 Synthetic 3 1/2" duckslayer. Gunna be one heckuva season from all the deer Im seeing around here so yall have a goodun.-tim

Probably my .260 again. I like that thing. If not Ill raid the safe and see what grabs my attention.

That's exactly the gun and the ammo I'm using. Are you using the Power Point Plus? That's what I like the best.

Winchester 30-30 .........with most of the shots we get around here you really dont need anything any bigger.

Depends on the one I feel like using at the time.Could be my venerable Win Mod.70 7mm mag.,or it could be my Ruger M77R in 30-06,or a Tikka 243,or even an old 6.5X55 Swedish Mauser(that ones a tack driver ;D ).It's also over a 100 years old.

Yes I am using the powerpoints. I really like them, I used silvertips for a couple years as well and killed a bunch of deer with them. I agree though 30-30 is all you really need around here but we do have some big fields where something like a 270 or 7mag would help but I just like my 30-30 know what I mean?.-tim

30-06 with 220 gr my bro loaded for me...then gonna try some black talons 180 he also loaded

I will be using my Beretta Xtrema for everything I go after. 2 3/4 No.8 shot for doves, 3.5 00 buckshot on deer, 3.5 steel No. 4's on ducks and 3.5 Hevi-Shot B's on geese.
