What are some of the things you dislike about some?
The biggest thing I dont like is when they play music during a hunt. I like the natural sound myself without music. There are a few left that doesnt play music during the hunt.

I'm a birdhunter and a deerhunter. I'd like to see more upland hunts but apparently the deer hunts are what sells.
I'd also like for them to get back to teaching more than just shooting. The upland and the big game hunting shows spend too much time on the preserves and game ranches and not enough time using the skills and knowledge that everyone else has to rely on to be successful.
Put me on a game ranch or take me to a pasture where you released 100 birds and I'll probably do pretty well too.

I hate the fact that like most magazines, most of the tv shows are all about trophy hunting anymore. Like GoTres, I think they need to get back to things that will help new hunters in the woods instead of making them think that if you dont get a trophy every time out your hunt was not successful.

I hate the obviously staged parts like the pre shot talking (which is recorded after the actual shot then edited in ahead of the shot) & the 'blood trailing' of a deer that already has the camera man in position near the deer.
Ted Nugent is also not about the trophy.

Less trophy hunting. Horn hunters have all but put us dog hunters out of business. These newcomers with their QDM can't learn to shoot a moving deer so they think a dog will ruin their hunts and have really put the pressure on us, not to mention all the rich yuppies driving up the cost of our leases.
And my favorite pet peeve is that infernal whispering! Why can't they add their description of the hunt after the hunt.

I saw a show last weekend where the re-enactment was very poor. THe guys had film of the buck and it showed a buck in a field early morning with fog still out and rising but yet when they showed the hunters acting there appearance it was just as sunny as it could be and no way was it that early in the morning, i was laughing. i couldnt beleive they were doing cut aways like that. that drives me crazy when the deer scenary is different from the actual hunters.

That happens way too many times. Thats why I like bow hunting shows. Its usually always over the shoulder and you know who really killed the animal. I dont doubt for a minute some hunters like Bill Jordan has film of himself shooting but someone else actually killed the deer.
