i wish i knew how to put a page on here from my scanner. here we go,this is in millions of people up to 1995.in 1983 21.2 million people registered that they are bird watchers.in 1995,their was 54.1 million.a increase of +155.2. in 1983 21.2 people were registered as hunters.in 1995 18.6 million were registered as hunters.a decrease of -12.3.if someone can help steer me through how to put this research i did on here i will print the list. its not nice. now you see why we are fighting a losing battle now .some of the others are ,hiking +93.5,backpacking,+72.7.take care

Sad, sad........we are a dying breed. Ya know, our society reflects those stats too. Look at kids today. Generally juvenile degenerates that have no respect for anything. I think if you can keep a kid in the outdoors, church and scouting, he's got a fighting chance at being a pretty good adult.

BTW,
I sure don't thank God often enough for a father that took me fishing, hunting and camping and was very involved in scouting with me as a young boy!

wish my dad would have taken me out or at least had someone else teach me when i was young....i wouldn't have made 1/10th of the mistakes i did if i had been out in the woods.
