a bobcat attacked a beagle here in my neighbors yard last week.he had 20 cuts.the owner shot the cat in yard.it had rabies.dog is doing ok. what is causing this? only my opinion. people are throwing their deer parts and dinner leftovers near their homes. animals are coming down from mountains for food. that bobcat got a taste of deer blood and was protecting his food which was most likely in that area somewhere.this is my theory. my dog comes up off the banks with all kinds of things, chicken half eaten, deer parts, fish parts,rat poison,had to have my dog throw up to save his life. why do people do such stupid things? i will tell you, they dont want to pay garbage anymore than they have to ,so they throw it all over.no wonder animals have rabies and are nasty! >:(take care
