I just got through processing a deer today and puting the meat in the freezer. It was a 150# 7point a guy at my club gave me.
Remember when you asked about how much meat you should get from a deer? Well here is how much I got from this one.
6 packs of cube steak(approximately 12 3-4inch square pieces per pack)
28 1# packs of ground meat(I added about 2# of beef fat)
And of course 2 backstraps two true tenderloins.
Now I might take more time than a processor to clean the bones and get all the meat I can but you get the idea on how much meat you should get when you take one to somebody.
