noonebill,you should see these soles.big long cracks from i side to the other.3 across the the middle that you can stick a dime in them.the heals are turning to little pieces.the shoe repairman looked at the [new] soles they sent me and said [junk] he said when they started to make the soles in japan they were bad ,now he says they come from china and are worst.the leather on the boots are fine.shoe repairman says he sees a lot of expensive boots in the same condition.
