I am thinking about getting one since I hunt on some WMA's. Can any of you help me out on a good Brand/Model of GPS?
Doesn't have to be the cheapest or most expensive just one that works.

I have a garmin. Not sure which one it is but it works pretty good. Ive used it mostly durring turkey season to get around to the back of the bird if he will gobble but not come in.

i had one and used it once....i'll stick with my compass and brite eyes.

If I am actually straying from my usual area I like a topo and my sense of direction. But hey man thats just me.

thanks for the help.... FL, the bright eyes have helped me on a WMA but they have also shown lazy hunters where I was planning to hunt.  |

Magellon makes a nice one that is yellowish orange and cost about 130.00 at bass pro and it is pretty easy to use. One thing though when buying a GPS buy the video too makes it alot easier because the book doesn't explain crap compared to the video! ;D

THEY ARE GREAT,you can walk into your stand without tacks or flashlight etc.a lot use that trek one,its yellow around 99 dollars.you can get them used on e bay for much less,i would try that area.i like them because now i can walk out of a area after dark that i am not familiar with.that a great thing here in our mountains of pa. trust me, if you come here without a compass,oh my.dont!!!!!!!!!!!  |
