Hi, I am a college student from PA, my roommate and I are absolutely dying to head south for a week to try some hog hunting (archery mainly). I'm not sure what state but we're thinking of GA or FL. Being college students, money is kind of an issue, so we would like to avoid any pay-to-hunt operations. We would greatly appreciate it if someone could point us in the right direction or recommend someone who would welcome us to get some pork. Thank you, -Dan

Hogs are getting thick in the south. Unfortunately I'm living in the only part of AR that does not have them, yet. Keep your search up, there are plenty of people out there that are willing to let people shoot hogs off their lease.

Thanks for the help guys. Its getting tougher now. The only week we would be able to do this is during our spring break(March 14-22). Unfortunately it is a closed season then leaving us with the only option of find a private landowner who would let us hunt pigs for a few days.

Wish I still had my lease in Port. St Joe the you could come down and hit spring break in Panama City and the hog hunt the rest of the time. Good luck finding a place.

Right now we have narrowed our options down to either savannah nwr hog hunt, or ft stewart. Can anyone recommend either of these or any other place? Thanks
