Anybody using them this year?
I'm seeing a lot of pics with massive holes punched in deer with those things, especially the two blade ones.

I use them. I didnt shoot a deer with them this year, but my brother and buddy did. Huge bleeder holes. Any deer we have shot with them so far have only gone 50 yards or less. Stevie Wonder could follow the blood trails.

I don't use them but a guy here a work uses the 2 blade. He used them last year with devistating results but this year he has shot two deer, found one and lost the other. He said he hit them both the same but both left little to no blood trail. He still thinks they are great heads.

One of the guys that went to Illinois with us last year used them on a doe. Seemed to be a nice hole.

Just ordered two packs of 3 blade Rage broadheads from Edersbow. They have them on sale for $29 for a 3 pack and 1 practice head. Most places they are around $36 or more for a 3 pack. There are a lot of pro hunters usin Rage broadheads now. Includin Jay Gregory, and Chuck Adams. if their good enough for Chuck, THE MAN, their good enough for me.  Hope I get the chance to stick a longbeard this spring. bogobble |

Yea Mike, I studied on which ones to get, the 2 blade or 3 blade, and decided on the 3 blade. They are 1 1/2" cut and that's 1/4" bigger than the steelheads I've been usin. Shot my bow with the practice heads the other day, and I hadn't even had to adjust anything. Still shootin right on the money. That's amazing to me! But that MQ1 is a sweet shootin bow anyway! The 2 blade should be real good for turkey! bogobble |
