The biggest male pit pup Sheba had Nov 1st I kept..named him Cotton, he is white with a brindle patch over his right eye.. he had been acting funny the last day or so ..I took him to the emergency animal hospital tonight and he has advanced parvo..they took blood and put it on a stick and if a blue dot appears means he has it..the darker the blue the more advanced...well his was dark blue..I paid 250.00 to start IV and meds..she said if he makes it till Monday he might have a chance..I tell ya boy it don't take long to get attached to a pup.

Good luck man. I had a dog named HOSS that had it pretty bad and he made it. Cost me about a grand for the IVs but it was well worth it. Out of all of the dogs I ever had he was my favorite.

Hello everyone ! I been around parvo , and it is ugly. Today I give puppies their shots at 5 weeks old, and I do it 4 more times. It is a bit of over done, but I never lost one like that. I also have the parvo shot by itself. Call 1800 jefferss they have them at a good price, just make sure you pay extra for ice packs. Now once I had parvo, I learn how to fight it and I have bit it 3 times with out the vet. Using Catosal from Bayer, and giving the pups a small amout of clorox in the water. As a matter of fact I put a bit of clorox on oall my dogs`s water. I hope this can help you all. www.openhousekennels.com
