This hog was captured on feeder cam last early last spring at one of the feeders me and my buddy hunt in Jack County, TX. When my buddy hung the cam, he didn't set up the date......I hope he got the time right. He went and retrieved the pics last weekend and this was one of the critters on the SD card. These are the only pics out of 2000......only 3 of this monster. Notice that this big girl (appears to be female to me....if someone thinks otherwise, please point it out) is alone. All the other pics of hogs had multiple hogs in the frames cept this one. Lots of big hogs but none this size.

Can't really tell whether is a sow or not but its definatley a fine pig. In my experience most pigs that size that are solitary its usually a big boar hog. Widh I still had a place to hunt pigs.

Very true......and I thought the same thing BUT.... take a close look at the pics. In the first one, you can't see the nut sack sticking out like you can on any medium to large boar. Same thing in the second one......I tried to zoom in to see if I could better see the monster balls on this dude but could not really tell. Thirdly, in the last pic, I think those are teats (not much unlike the ones in the last picture that DS posted of himself) hangin from her bacon. Again, I could be wrong...... I hope to have the 7mm let us know for sure very soon.

No matter what it is, it's a huge hog. What would you estimate the weight to be?

Not real sure.
The bottom rim of the feeder barrel is at my eye level and I am exactly 6 foot.
I'm guessin that hog comes up to my crotch area at least.
If you look at the 2nd pic, she's damn near as wide as the feeder.
I'm gonna guess in the 250 - 300 pound range.

Also, I'd like to get a better look at the snout.

You shoot that hog, and I'll bring the eggs. That looks like a big hog to me, but we dont have them here, so I have NO experience in judging them. I say ground check that rascal. Then you can let us know the exact weight. ;D
