On my new bow, my 20 yd and 30 yd pins are almost the same, so close in fact that I can not see between them at full draw.
My question is, should I make my top pin a 0-30 yd pin and try to remember to aim just a hair lower when the moment of truth comes at 15 yds?
With my old bow, there was enough distance between the two to not confuse the issue, plus I rarely shot at a deer over 25 yds and if I did take a 25 yd shot I held my 20 pin high.
Could yall remember details such as that at the moment of truth? I really don't think it will matter that much. If I use my 30 yd pin at 10 yds I am still inside the circle at the top.
Am I making this too complicated by being too precise?

If you sight in at 25 you should be good from 5-30. Try it and see if ya love it...

Or maybe 15/30 yrds pins or 10/30. What distances are you going to shoot at a deer most of the time? That should really dictate what you shoud do. BTW, that's a nice problem to have with these new bows.

Most of my shots should be inside of 25 yds but you can bet your ass I'll be practicing alot for that 40 yd opportunity.

Left 'em the way they were but I am thinking of just eliminating the 20 yd pin.
