The toss up was between the XDM and the OSS.
The gun show price on the XDM was $450 ( about $130 off the regular price) and the OSS $450 (about $80 off the regular price).
The problem was that there were only 3 XDMs in the whole building and when I made up my mind, they were already gone.
I would never own a Glock because I do not like the way they feel in my hand. I have fire several and handled dozens and I just don't like the way they sit in the palm.

I personally think they (glocks) are over rated.

I personally think they (glocks) are over rated. They are.....at least now anyway. You have to appreciate them for what they are.... Kinda like the Doors.....no one really likes the Doors but we all appreciate what they did for rock and roll. Glocks are the same way. They were revolutionary when they came out. Everyone in the polymer game now has taken the Glock concept and improved greatly on it. Glocks fault was that they sat complacent (if you will) and let everyone else get ahead of them in their own game. Don't get me wrong, Glock is a great gun and hands down STILL the most widely distributed tupperware piece in the world AND I'm amazed at the consistent level of accuracy with everyone I ever fired. All that said, it does change the fact that I HATE the way they fit in my hand.
