Anyone here have a snowmobile? I just bought one today, a used one. I have been looking for a snowmobile that I can use off the beaten track, that I dont have to worry about getting stuck all the time, and dependable. Today, I just happened to be in the right place at the right time (for once). I stopped in the dealership while I was working. They had the snowmobile I wanted sitting on the rack, getting it ready for the season. I asked the guy why they didnt make them anymore, and he said they do, but they are pricey. I told him I was looking for one a few years old so I could afford it. Both mechanics looked at each other, and said "follow me". We walked out the back door and there sat the EXACT snowmobile I have been looking for. They had just took it in on a trade. I asked them how much they wanted, and they said we'll give you a very good deal. Within 3 minutes, I walked out the door, a proud owner of a new snowmachine. The thing looks brand new, and I pick it up after work tomorrow. I cant wait to run the trapline with this baby. If this link works, its my snowmobile. www.hallsofmedford.com/snowmobile/new/bearcat/

I use my quad mostly, youd be surprised by how much snow it can push.Alot of the places I go have good trail systems and there's a lot of sled riders here,so there's always a trail broke and we'll ride the sled tracks.
By the way, congrats on getting your sled.Happy trails.

We're about like deerslayer around here anymore, if we get any snow it's gone in a few hours. I'd love to try one of those things out though.
