Does anyone know how to go about transplanting Japanese Honeysuckle any help please?

If this is one of the vine varieties it should be easy. Take a section of the vine still on the plant a few feet from the end and remove the bark and split in half for about four inches. Bury this and it should start to root.

instead of just stickin' it in the ground don't you have to place it in water until it starts to root?? i'm just askin'.....i don't have the greenest thumb in the world.

When rooting plants the soil needs to be kept moist. Since with this method the part of the plant you are rooting is still attached to the mother plant it takes less moisture than a straight cutting.

Get some 'Root Tone' & follow the directions. This will allow you to root cuttings instead of rooting them then cutting.
