Of wildlife !!!Have you ever walked into a woods and say there has to be all kinds of Wildlife here.
At one time a couple years ago you couldn't hide a Rabbit on my place.I got rid of my stock,quit Burning,planting plots of Clover.And Pine Trees.I cut a bunch of Trees for Firewood opened it up let some light in.Been putting out Mineral and Feeding in the Winter.
Tonight I braved the heat and walked down there,it has been a few weeks.First thing I seen was young Squirrels.Lots of people will say big deal ! Well haven't seen a lot of Squirrels because the Den Trees got burnt out,I have been leaving them.
Walk on down,looked around thought to myself this place is awsome and getting better all the time.Plenty of Food,Water and Cover.
I stood for a while just listening heard Deer snorting up through the Brush and Timber.I started walking down an old Logging Road that is grown up,but I can still drive my Truck down.I picked up a little feather of a Turkey Poult.Walked on down couple mud holes,Fawn Tracks,Turkey Tracks over Deer Tracks.
Stopped and talked to a neighbor that really sees more of what goes on down there because he drives by there several times a day.He was telling me of all the Deer and Turkey he is seeing on my place,and Fox and all the other critters.
I am having so much fun seeing all the changes in such a short time,it is just awsome thinking about the future of what I have started.
