Didnt see anything in the AM. Deer and a coon in the PM. Whats the trick to getting these things moving in the daylight? I heard em this PM but they never came out of the cutover.
OH, Carried the Buckmaster and hunted out of a stand this AM and the XD-40 on the ground this PM. I figured if they came out a group of pigs at 20yds with a pistol while on the ground would be a rush! I think I wanna carry the recurve next time.

Hunt the creek beds, heavy under brush and look for the hog holes where they come in and out. If you can use bait in your state, use it. We use Hog Wild mixed with deer corn. Just dump it on the ground and hunt the bait late noon and as it gets dark. That's when I, personally, have the best luck. And, unlike deer, the big ones always seem to come out into the open before the smaller ones do.
If you run into them on the ground, be careful. About half the time I've done that, they run right toward the gunshots.
Did I send you the pics of the ones we shot last month?
