So Mike's inlaws place has some feral pigs now. We looked around today and saw where they had been wallowing in the mudholes on a roadbed, but there was no wallows in the creek beds that we could find. Do they just wallow in water that isnt flowing? There arent any laws here against baiting hogs because they are not a game animal, should we just go down to the creeks and corn em for a week or so before we try to hunt or what?

Sounds like a good plan to me. Don't forget the trail cameras.

Look for em in creek beds and river beds. They don't have sweat gland so they cool off in the day in wet wallers. They'll start becoming active very late in the day depending on how hot it is there now. If it's real hot, they may not come out till after dark.
There's a product called Hog Wild....you SHOULD be able to get it almost anywhere. I even saw it at WalMart before the liberals made em cave in.
Follow the directions on the bag......you'll need a post hole digger. If you got hogs, that stuff will lure em in.

Best hog attratant I ever used was to take a 5gal bucket fill it 3/4 full with corn and then cover it with water. Mix in a little corn syrup or molasses and put the top on the bucket and let it sour for a few days. If a hog is down wind I promiss you they will come to it.
