???Hello everyone, I've been contemplating thinning out my inventory of long guns, and have been a little hesitant. I'm not against selling a few of them, but I'm particular as to whom I sell them to. ( I hope this doesn't sound weird???) I could advertise them in the local classifieds, but I'm not so sure that I would get actually what they're worth, or be sold to a person that would appreciate them for what they are. If I decide to sell them through the internet, do they have to go through a liscensed dealer? Anyhow, here's what I have & I'm open for comments:
#1) One Lee-Enfield No. 4 MkII .303 British rifle. Full military dress (stocked) what I believe to be un-issued condition. I've added a leather military style sling.
#2) One Mod. 48-A Mauser rifle, 8mm Mauser caliber. Fully dressed, 100% blue. This rifle is unmarked, (no crest & lettering). Sometimes mistakingly refered to as an "Egyptian Mauser". I've added an authentically original leather sling & I also have a bayonet & scabbard for it. I don't believe this was issued either.
#3) One Mod. 1892 Rossi replica lever-action rifle. .38 spcl./357 mag. caliber. 24" octagon barrel, cresent butt, color-case hardened. 100% blue, I've only put less than 20 rounds through it. I bought it new about 4 years ago.
#4) One SKS "Cowboy Companion" semi-auto rifle. It has a 16" barrel, and I've put it in a Butler-Creek synthetic stock & I have the original wood for it also. It has a 10 round fixed mag, and is 7.62X39mm cal. I've probably burned 40 to 50 rounds through this one.
If anyone has any questions/comments, leave me a message for the particulars. Thanks & Good-Shootin'........Wayne.
