GIVE YOURE OPPINIONS ON WHICH IS BEST!! MY PREFFRANCE IS OLD SCHOOL BUT AT THE SAME TIME I SEE THE NEED FOR E-COLLARS ALSO.

For me it depends on how close the dog is. If it is out of reach you need the collar becuase by the time to get into a position to disapline the dog, it probably isnt doing wrong anymore.

easy, easy question.....BOTH. gotta have the old school while they are young. you have to have the basics installed, so that when the collar goes on, they understand what you are trying to get them to do.
many people get a pup and leave him in the kennel, then a couple weeks before season, slap an e-collar on him, and start hollerin' commands that he has never heard.

I use both. Started with the old way and now we have the collar as a reminder. I use it with the lowest setting, just enough tingle to open up the ears and let her hear what I said...twice.
