A Boy and His Dog

This is my Nephew Travis and his GWP "APRIL"

She was his first gundog and he trained her by himself when he was 16.The pic shows his success.

She was a full sister to my GWP but about 4 years younger.She passed on this past fall in Colorado doing what she did best,hunting pheasant.

This is Aprils big brother,my GWP.I posted this before but it was lost when my pic host quit on me.

He was my first gundog that I trained or should I say trained me ;D.

What an amazing dog he was,solid pointer and retriever,land and water and all round good buddy.

Some good lookin dogs there. Pheasants are pretty tastey birds.
