i have a rat terrier (betsy), 2 brittneys (mollie & sassy) i wish i could post a pic of my last male brit ozzie, he was great.

she is not a rat terrier. she is half treeing fiest and half jack russel. she aint much of a fighter but she will bay all day and loves to tree. one of the smartest dogs that i have seen.

He looks like he knows his stuff.
It looked like you had mallard hen in that group of woodies in that one picture.

Yeah it was a mallard hen. . . friggin drake was bullet proof!! ;D That was opening day this year. . . woodies were fast and furious but the other ducks were non existent.

Here is my new pup. She was born 11/12/03 at Bar None Kennels in Wagoner Oklahoma. She has quite a pedrigree - lots of field trial dogs in her lineage and she's like to try to whip the lab next door. One more. Check out the "moustache" marking. We tried to come up with a name based on that, but we named her Belle - my daughter's choice.

gotres, now there is a dog!! nice looking pup. instead of a mustache, i would have maybe thought of clown makeup, and gone with joker or jester. have fun training her. brits take a soft hand and patience

Thanks all. I'm pretty proud of her. As far as conditioning, I ordered "Speed train your bird dog" by Larry Mueller on recommendation from a dog trainer. He said it was his "go to" reference - Good enough for me. I got it yesterday and it's amazing how simple he makes training.
I also ordered a Bill Tarrant book. He's either one of the best or one of the busiest because he has a few books and they're mentioned by a lot of other trainers.
I didn't know it, but training has already started and I'm late.
