I went to the lake this morning to get some geese and I never saw the first one. I was up there fishing two weeks ago and saw to big flocks feeding on the bank near a spot that I could set up on so I thought I had a lock on them. I got to the spot I wanted about 15 minute before sunrise and got the decoys out and went around the island to hide the boat ( I use my bass boat). As I was lugging my stuff from the boat I could hear a large group honking in the distance. That was as close as I came to geese all morning. I'm guessing all the yahoos on the lake for Labor Day got them scattered far and wide. I'll try again next Wednesday.
