Should we be worried about migrating birds from the North? I just saw a segment on NBC Nightly News that said we should be.
I damn sure guess I'll not be eating medium rare birds this year.

Like you my duck will be well done. I think I read somewhere the strain that the waterfowel tested positive for was not transferable to humans. Don't quote me on that tho.

If htese waterfowl coming from up norht have the bird flu we need to post a special border patrol toprevent their entry into the U.S. I think I have great idea for this too!

There are two bird farms in British Columbia that are killing off all the birds, mostly ducks and geese as a preventitive cure. The strain is not the one that kills humans, but mass hysteria has taken control. One farm is killing off over 60,000 birds.
I think this is getting out of hand due to the media portrayal. There have been die offs for years and nobody paid attention to it until the media got involved, nuff said.

We get die offs from migratory birds damn near every year, they called it avian botulism.People would be out on the lakes picking up dead ducks by the score. No one ever died from it.I just think it's all blown out of proportion by the media,it's what makes news, nothing more.

That's my take on it but I would like an excuse to stand at the US/Canada border with a case of shells and no limits on ducks and geese and shoot until my arms couldn't take it no more. Or my poor dog couldn't swim out after the birds any more. ;D
