I'm going Thursday to scout a few places. Last year my usual places where I always see Woodies everytime were useless. So I'm going to check out a few places where I see ducks get up when we're deer hunting. My daughter wants to go with Saturday so I'm pretty stoked but I want to make sure we're going to get some shooting in.

I got my limit of Woodies (2) and my dog performed wonderfully. She hestiated at the first duck when she got to it, but finally after trying top push it to me she grabbed it gently in her mouth and came. I didn't take Sarah because she had a big night planned and she didn't want to get up early. I did take one of my customers that just got back from Iraq. He had never been hunting before and he had a blast. He had a little trouble picking up the passing birds at first. We saw 50-60 wood ducks pass over our spot.
I'm going back tomorrrow to try again and to try and find my damn glasses. I can't shoot birds without them and my other pair are bi-focals which give me a headache.
