Your Duck Season. . .

How would you rate your duck season this year? Was this a awesome season. . . . average. . . . or did it just plain suck? Give me a rating 1-10.

I would give my season a rating of 8 maybe even a 9. I had a really good year. I killed a good number of birds through out the season and hunted several new places. I met alot of duck hunting addicts like myself that i can always rely on for a hunting partner. I of course learned alot of new stuff that'll help me kill more ducks next year. I also killed my prize duck for the year, a Bull Can. That was the capper for a good season. ;D

I'd give mine a 5 it could have been alot better if I had of hunted more.

Hell, can i give mine a 15 ? I thought mine was a awsome season compared to last year. Had alot of fun hunting shot alot of birds but thaT AINT WHAT made it fun form me, it was all the folks i hunted with this season had fun chewn the fat with (aint bad for a yankee HEE HEE HEE) learnd a few new redneck words.
But the best part was riding on the BARGE with Dave ;D

mine sucked....-10 at least...but then again i only made it out once...a bluebird day...oh well that's how all my seasons were...maybe next year.

Could of been a 10 but I didn't get out enough,the birds were always there.

I'll give mine an 8 just becuase it ain't over yet. Saturday will be my last duck hunt but I'm going after the geese Monday and Wednesday. It'll be a 10 after that even though I've only killed three ducks so far.

If he hasen't call you then i would just meet him at the hunt when or what ever time he said to. I bet he is running ragged triing to get this deal aworking and running right. GOOD LUCK TO YOU GUYS AND ALL THEM KIDS. The smiles are worth more than the kills on this one. have fun and i will be thinking of you guys while i am moving.

I got to say mine was a 10, got my Bull Can and a Hen, got given another Hen ;D, shot 3 new species I never had before, shot a few birds, not as many geese this year but they will be there for next year I am sure.

A 9 for me now that it's done. I really wanted to get out on the lake for geese one more time and got hosed by the ice storm first then by my goofy ass boss.
I learned alot this year and had a ball as usual throwing out the dekes and calling myself calling in birds to shoot at. ;D
Actually there was two different hunts that there was no mistaking that the dekes and my calling were right on the money.

Guess I would have to give it a high 7. Only killed 3 geese and a pair of mallards. But, damn, I had a good time doin it ;D Same as above, getting to go with new people and new places. Didnt float my hat, didnt sink my boat, new pup has good manners, and the SYC hunts were awesome. Counting down the days till next year. Will have a new boat, 18x48 GatorTrax with 27hp Kohler MudBuddy. Gonna make a trip out to South Dakota with a good friend. Ducks in the mornings, grouse and pheasants late morning, geese in the afternoons. And more kid hunts next year too
