We can't legally. The legal shooting times in Georgia are from 30 minutes before sun up until sundown. The state gives a chart with the official sunrise and sunset times in it. The sunrise times are okay because the sun isn't even up whe they say it is. But the sunset time time is off by 45 minutes. The ducks don't start moving until 20 minutes after "sunset" because it's still light out. Oficial sunset was 5:21PM when I went the other evening. The ducks didn't start coming into the hole until 5:40PM and we still had plenty of daylight left.

think it's the same here....all i know is about the time the ducks start flyin' in it's too late to shoot. last year the game wardens were crackin' down hard on the hunters around here who were shootin' after hours.

Most of the time you'll get a nice little coupon from the game warden if you shoot ducks in the afternoon in Ga because they never fly until roost time.
