Ever ran or considered running for any local political office?
First time I've been in here for awhile and thought I'd throw a question out there for y'all. ;D

Yes I have thought about it. I always felt like I wanted to be a US Congressman but after being the secretary for a 229 member hunting club I don't know now.

But if you were a Congressman you would Aides to actually do your job while you are playing golf or vacationing at some resort. You only have to make what like 3 votes a year in person?

I ran for student council vice president in 5th grade (& lost miserably). I've been asked to run for office in the local Union, but I'm just too busy.

yep, local gov't would be cool.
I'd run for something bigger but you see....I have a past and they would dig it up..

Most people our age have some stuff in our past, like dope smokin', that used tobe an issue. The first thing I do when I announced for an office would be to say I was low life at an earlier time in my life but I grew out of it and now I'm a grown man that takes things more seriously. |

At least if one of you "good hunters" go out with your friends, you won't try to kill them. (I.e. Cheney)
